1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AnswerPilot's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

AnswerPilot provides AI-powered receptionist services for local businesses, including but not limited to:

• 24/7 AI phone answering and call handling
• Automated appointment booking and scheduling
• Lead qualification and customer follow-up
• CRM integration and lead management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account and Subscription

When you subscribe to AnswerPilot:

• You must provide accurate and complete information during signup
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• One account per business unless otherwise agreed upon in writing

4. Payment Terms

AnswerPilot operates on a monthly subscription basis:

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance on the date you signed up
• Payment: All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Failed Payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge again within 3 days. After two failed attempts, your service may be suspended
• Price Changes: We will provide at least 30 days notice before changing subscription prices
• Setup Fees: Any one-time setup fees are non-refundable once onboarding has begun

5. Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hello@answerpilot.co
• Effective Date: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to services until that date
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If you cancel, you will not be charged for the following month
• No Contracts: There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel month-to-month at any time

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AnswerPilot to:

• Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
• Harass, abuse, or harm any person
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including telemarketing laws
• Transmit spam or unsolicited communications
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our software or systems
• Misrepresent your identity or business to callers

7. Call Recording and Compliance

AnswerPilot's AI may record calls for quality, training, and service improvement purposes. By using our service:

• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable call recording laws in your state and jurisdiction
• You agree to inform callers as required by law that calls may be recorded
• Some states require all-party consent for call recording — you are responsible for complying with your local laws

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, technology, and materials associated with AnswerPilot — including our website, branding, and AI systems — are owned by AnswerPilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our materials without written permission.

You retain ownership of any content or data you provide to us. By providing content, you grant us a license to use it solely to provide our services to you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

AnswerPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• Our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The AI will perfectly handle every call in every situation
• Results such as lead conversions or revenue increases are guaranteed

We make reasonable efforts to maintain service uptime and quality, but cannot guarantee specific business outcomes.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnswerPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold AnswerPilot harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify active clients of significant changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
